Gentlemen by Michael Northrop

Book Review

When three teenaged boys suspect that their English teacher is responsible for their friend's disappearance, they must navigate a maze of assorted clues, fraying friendships, violence, and Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment" before learning the truth.

"I liked reading this book. It was kind of mysterious. What I liked is that it made you think, this person killed this person, but it turns out differently at the end. This book was very well put together. Every time I finished a chapter, I had to keep going. It's not one of those books you just don't feel like reading anymore. This book I would probably recommend, not to little children, I'd say ages 13 - up because of sexual content. It kind of goes through the life of teenage boys, and what bad things they can go through. But I thought deep down, that the main character, was a good guy. Everything about this book, I liked. It was scary at times too. It kept me reading though." -- Submitted by Natalie, TAG member
