Review by Poppy Mae Bee
A bouyant, charming movie about the heady mix of music and romance. The third film by the writer and director of the film Once, again enchants.
This time it is a celebration of the many varieties of 80's alt music and the beginnings of video and its affect on a young boy (15) in Dublin. Smitten by a mysterious girl across the street from his school - how does he woo her? By claiming he is in a band of course - nothing more heady that being a musican. This is a real delight and perhaps my favorite of the trio starting with Once, Starting Again?, and now Sing Street (even went out and bought a copy when I need a lift)
