Beautifully shot and directed historical based film about Gertrude Bell, an English woman who was drawn and connected to the Arab world before and during the re-drawing of the borders during WW I, at the end of the Ottoman Empire.
Absolutely gorgeous cinematography! Very good story with superb acting by Nicole Kidman.
Very instructive film about a nearly forgotten strong woman who lost two men that she loved and yet went on to play an important role in the Arab world at the time.
