Wonderful movie made to represent the travails of Charles Dickens in writing his classic A Christmas Carol book. We follow him finding possible characters who take a life of their own in his struggle to incorporate them in his book, while dealing with his own personal issues.
The screen lights up when Christopher Plummer is featured, confirming his immense talent and presence. That alone makes the film worth watching.
Beautiful period cinematography, costumes and dialogue that transports you to the 19th Century so easily. I would watch one again; it is that well done!
