Summary | After the death of his first wife, Alex is given a second chance with Natalie, his new wife. Their idyllic domestic calm is shattered when Alex returns home one night to find that his wife and daughter have narrowly escaped a devastating house fire. Hospitalized and traumatized, his daughter insists she saw a man in their house on that night. Natalie confides in Alex that eighteen years ago she testified as a witness in a murder trial involving her sister, Sadie. Natalie was placed under witness protection and she has worked hard to build a new life, but now the past is catching up to her. |
