Fabulous film!
Close was nominated for her role for best actress and greatly deserved that nomination.
The film peels the characters of the husband, author and Nobel laureate and his wife who supported him throughout his career in more ways than we suspect. The excellent use of flash backs helps reveal that all is not as it seemed. This is prompted by the couple's visit to receive the husband's Nobel prize in literature and the writer who is trying to write a biography of him.
Excellent writing, directing, acting and filming make this film one of the best I have watched in the last year.
