Friends of the Library Create Space

About the Friends of the Library Create Space

The Create Space will open on September 8 for limited access.

A single booking will be permitted at a time, and there will be a 72 hour quarantine of the space following each booking.

Contact us to request a booking.

For creative projects ideas, check out the Art Hive: Virtual Edition and Summer Art Studios episodes on our Youtube channel.

The Friends of the Library Create Space is located on the main floor at our Central Branch.

It is an unsupervised space, and library staff are not able to provide assistance or technical support for patrons using the equipment.

Youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied in the space by an adult, and the use of most equipment is restricted to ages 8 and older. Visitors to the space must complete a waiver before being admitted to the space.

A key card is needed to access the space. Key cards may be borrowed from the main service desk using your library card.

Please note that no food or drink is permitted in the Create Space.

KFPL will make every effort to maintain all of the equipment in the Creative Space, but occasionally items will be unavailable due to required maintenance, repairs or replacement.
