Epson FastFoto photo scanners are installed on both the Mac and the Dell. These may be used to scan original photos sized 4X6 to 8x10. Photos take 1-3 seconds to scan, so the time required will depend on the number of images to be digitized.
Elgato Video Capture technology is installed on the Dell, connecting it to a VCR and an DVD player. This software may be used to digitize video content from VHS and DVD format. Digitization happens in real time, so the video will need to play in full while capture occurs.
Both the Mac and the Dell have been installed with Adobe Creative Suite software that can be used to edit your photos and videos.
Use of the computers is limited to ages 8 and up, and youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Book either the Mac or PC station for a 3.5 hour session.
Staff support is not available for Adobe Creative Suite software, and patrons are strongly encouraged to view the appropriate resources prior to their booking.
