Get started

You can access LinkedIn Learning over the web, using a web browser, or on the dedicated app.

  1. Go to LinkedIn Learning’s website.

  3. Enter your 14-digit library card number and PIN. Select Continue. The system will verify your card.

  4. Enter a role or select one of options below the search bar. Select the arrow to continue.

    1. If you wish to skip this step, use the ‘x’ at the top-right of the screen. Select Yes, skip.

  5. Select your level of expertise by navigating to the box. Select the arrow to continue. If you wish to skip this step, choose the ‘x’ at the top-right of the screen.
  6. Select your goal by clicking filling out the search bar or selecting a goal below the search bar. Use the arrow to continue. If you wish to skip this step, choose the ‘x’ at the top-right of the screen.

  7. Select or type in a skill. Press the arrow to continue. If you wish to skip this step, select the ‘x’ at the top-right of the screen.
  8. Your LinkedIn homepage will appear.

  1. Download the LinkedIn Learning app.
  2. Tap Sign In.
  3. Select Sign in with your library card.

  4. In the Enter your Library ID, type kfpl. Select Continue.

  5. Enter your 14-digit library card number and PIN.
  6. Navigate to Continue to verify your account.
  7. If want the LinkedIn app to notify you, choose Continue to allow push notification. Otherwise, choose Skip for now.

  8. You are now logged into the app.

Common questions and concerns

No, you will only need your Library Card number and PIN to access all the content. 

Unfortunately, since LinkedIn Learning does not capture any personally identifiable information (PII) from your library account, they are unable to include names on certificates of completion.
