Summary | In 1950s England, the flamboyant Larkin family is headed by Sidney "Pop" Larkin, a dreamer and schemer. In the first episode, a mild-mannered tax inspector is assigned to investigate the Larkins' taxes, but is distracted by beautiful daughter Mariette. In the second, Mariette and Charlie prepare for marriage, while Pop tried to buy a dilapidated stately home. |
