Computers and Internet Access
Access to Public Computers
All Kingston Frontenac Public Library branches have at least one Public Access Computer connected to the Internet. These can be reserved by patrons for research or browsing use (see our Internet Policy for more information).
Express Computers
Express computers are available at Central, Calvin Park, Cataraqui Centre, Pittsburgh and Rideau Heights. These computers are connected to the Internet and intended for patrons who only need a computer for shorter periods of time.
Booking Computer Time
You can book a computer at the circulation desk of your branch or by using the self-booking system.

Games
As part of the interactive media features, the children's departments at Calvin Park, Isabel Turner, Central and Rideau Heights provide access to games on designated computers.
Can I bring my own disks (CD, DVD, flash drive, memory card)?
All of our computers can read CDs, DVDs and have USB ports able to read flash drives. Flash drives may also be available for purchase at the reference desk for $8.00.
How do I get a set of headphones?
The Library does not supply headphones or adapters. Please bring your own headphones. The computers accommodate a standard 3.5mm headphone connection.
