- There are 42,362 Library cardholders in the Kingston Frontenac region, and they borrowed 1,331,362 items in 2022. This includes books and audiobooks; DVDs, CDs, and video games; Chromebooks and internet hotspots; eBooks and eAudiobooks; and digital comics, movies, music, TV shows, films and magazines.
- The Kingston Frontenac Public Library operates 16 branches, including the Rideau Heights branch which opened on April 21, 2018. The renovated Central Branch re-opened March 23, 2019 and welcomed 3,000 residents during the first weekend.
