Grohl is wrong about one thing - an instrument (that digital stuff he talks about) that serves to allow anyone 'out there' to experience a creative process benefits all musicians by increasing an understanding and appreciation of what is involved in making music. His view is, as usual, impulsively elitist. No one is forcing him to use that equipment.
