Drama/comedy that creates a group of characters that feel like real living people in a cool way. Frances is someone that we watch mess up, fail, and self sabotage several times in this movie, and yet I found that I couldn't really help but root for her. Her journey here is certainly relatable if you have been/are a young person trying hard to find their way, but feeling out of their depth. The comedy is generally the "cringe-comedy" type, where the situations become so uncomfortable it gets to be absurd. The performances are all very good, especially from Greta Gerwig and Adam Driver, who plays such a realistic "dude" character it's almost hard to watch. I felt like the ending was a little bit rushed though, but for a 90 minute watch it makes sense.
