Tell us what you thought about The Brokenwood mysteries. Series 1
Unfortunately in this series the characters are one dimensional, with some roles suffering from being over acted in the unsuccessful attempt to be funny. At times I am unsure whether the production is supposed to be serious or merely a spoof.
Episodes are too long and drawn out with excess filler sections where the plot does not advance.
The series would be more enjoyable if the episodes were shortened and tightened up.
