Review by GEORGE R WARBURTON
Very well done. One of Jackie Chan's better movies. He suits the serious roles far better than those comedies they kept putting him in (where they try so hard to be funny they're not).

Very well done. One of Jackie Chan's better movies. He suits the serious roles far better than those comedies they kept putting him in (where they try so hard to be funny they're not).
Film produced by Chan who is also the main character.
Some of the more recent Jackie Chan were bad, but this one is quite good. He may be older and slower, but it is still genuine Chan action.
This time, Chan is an ex-special force whose daughter gets killed in a bombing in London by a new branch of the IRA. Of course, he goes after the bad guys but finding who they are is murky and not obvious, as there are lots of connections that twist and turn as the film progresses. It is those twists and turns that make the film very watchable, including a very good performance by Pierce Brosnan (ex James Bond).
