Tell us what you thought about Murder on the Orient Express
For a while there I thought I was watching a comedic remake. The cinematography is good (to be expected of a movie featuring top-shelf actors), but I found the acting somewhat flat (a too-crowded top shelf?); the moustache way over-the-top; and the rail cars far too wide, which might have made it easier to shoot but which challenges scene set credibility. Enjoyable nonetheless.
Modern remake of the classic film with so many A-listers that the film had to be good; it is!
Superb cinematography and great period (1930's) background, clothing and general feel.
The film moves slowly and a few scenes were not quite right and the editing was very average. The Poirot character is almost believable.
I expected better from this film but enjoyed it anyway.
