Once again Eastwood proves that he is a master story teller with this film that explains how several tiny unpredictable decisions led 3 American military buddies to be on the train to Paris that also had a terrorist on board. First telling the individual stories of the 3 guys, Eastwood documents why they acted with bravery and stopped the terrorist.
The whole movie shows the characters of the 3 buddies and their life experiences for 95% of the film and then the act itself which is brief in comparison. Brilliant direction by Eastwood who took mostly unknown actors to play out the compelling story.
