Kudos to Ron Howard for adding this tale to the Star Wars repertoire in keeping with the flavour of the originals!

Well worth seeing. Well worth five stars:
I had stopped seeing Star Wars movies some time back because of the hype coming from old school die hard fans, the exaggerated mannerisms of C3P0, and the orchestra that's more 'noise' than music. It's better when good writing, good acting and good action sequences are used for emphasis. NOT THEIR SCREACHING MUSIC. My apologies to those I've offended; but, music should blend with the scenes; not overpower and distract us from them. That includes star wars stereotypical bar room scenes. It's supposed to be (paradoxially), future music. So make it 'futuristic. Not some old school annoying distraction that gives us viewers whip lash out of our fantasy world.
Still well worth watching though. Still well worth five stars.
Another very good movie from the Star War franchise, directed by Ron Howard who always does a good job of story telling.
This prequel of the Han Solo character reveals his youth, how he met Chewbacca and how he got to own his legendary ship.
Great fun movie with all kinds of expected strange characters.
