Review by unofficial reviewer
This film lives up to the extraordinary expectations I had about it, and then some.
The two lead actors Viggo Mortensen (as the Italian driver and fixer) and Mahershala Ali (as the sophisticated doctor in music and pianist) are charming, real, likeable and so wonderful playing opposite each other. What a superb acting performance.
The film puts two people together who would never had met or liked another in a drive to multiple concerts across the deep South of the USA where the segregation and hatred meet. The boss is Black and the driver white, causing many ripples along the way.
This is the best film I have seen this year; worth watching again and again.
