Thought the first movie of the series, The Purpose of a Dog, was better made and unique. This one seemed to follow the patterns but did not add much new. Still if you are an animal lover, especially dogs and cats, like myself. you may still may turn into a puddle by the end of the movie. One very positive aspect was it spoke against the bylaws that kill dogs because of breed rather than dangerous behaviour. As one person says in the movie - it is racism against dogs. So many unnecessary murders of dogs that use to be the favourite breed in America - see the film Sgt. Stubby to get another point of view.
