Summary | Egyptologist Radcliffe Emerson and his wife Amelia Peabody are convinced that the tomb of Tutankhamen lies somewhere in the Valley of the Kings. Having been banned from the East Valley, they have to search in the less promising West Valley, and have to watch as others make the discovery. The family also gets caught up in a plot that threatens the peace of the entire region. |
