Summary | Stuart Anderson constantly uproots his family, selfishly seeking out new locations for inspiration in pursuit of his career. When the Andersons move to a farmhouse in the spring of 1954, fifteen-year-old Tamara and her mother Liz want to settle down and make it a home. But a diagnosis of tuberculosis forces Liz into a sanatorium and Tamara is left in charge of two younger siblings when her father escapes to New York. |
