Summary | Describes the tragic story of Steve Kurtz who awoke to find his wife dead of heart failure. Police responding to his distressed 911 call became suspicious of biological equipment in his house--equipment that he had been using for an art project on genetically modified food. Only hours after his wife's death, the FBI detained him as a suspected bioterrorist. Through interviews, documentary footage and reconstructed scenes, the video looks at how the traumatic events of 9/11 have altered American society and undermined its long-held values. |
