Let’s Celebrate a Summer of Reading Success!

We’re wrapping up this year’s TD Summer Reading Club with a special celebration to honour all our amazing readers! Join us for an exciting Fire and Ice show presented by Mad Science, enjoy face painting, tasty treats and strike a pose in front of our festive photo backdrop. As a special memento of your summer reading success, you’ll receive a Polaroid photo to take home. 

Need a break from the noise? Step into our Quiet Corner, where kids can enjoy calming, hands-on activities and experiments in a peaceful setting.

The Isabel Turner Branch will be temporarily closed starting Fall 2024 for renovations. During this time, we’ll be temporarily moving to the Cataraqui Centre.  Get updates here.

Calling all SF writers! Local author Jerri Jerreat is back with Writing: Character, Suspense & Theme in Eco-Fiction, an interactive online workshop designed to make your writing better. Building on her previous workshop on creating a believable future, this session is again focused on eco-fiction, especially solarpunk. Join the fun Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.

Extended hours at Rideau Heights and Turner

We're excited to announce more opportunities to visit library branches! Starting Nov. 15, the Isabel Turner Branch will be open later, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Starting Nov. 17, Wednesday hours return to the Rideau Heights Branch, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We're looking forward to seeing you!
