Join us for an exciting Fire and Ice show presented by Mad Science, enjoy face painting, tasty treats and strike a pose in front of our festive photo backdrop. As a special memento of your summer reading success, you’ll receive a Polaroid photo to take home.

MAW: A Community Celebration of the Vocal Arts

MAW: A Community Celebration of the Vocal Arts

When we think of the vocal arts, we tend to think of singing – it is sonically pleasing, broadly accessible, and widely popular. But what about other vocal arts and practices, to which some dedicate themselves with all of the passion and hard work of the most celebrated singers. Are bird calls, auctioneering, ventriloquism, and sound healing somehow the products of a lesser commitment to craft? Kingston Frontenac Public Library, King Con, and the Tone Deaf Festival are pleased to announce a special Kingston-edition of comics author and artist, Georgia Webber’s immersive concert series, “MAW,” which celebrates the human voice in all its permutations. Register now for this special event!
