Rescheduled Climate Emergency Workshop 2

We've been preoccupied by the pandemic, but the climate crisis is still here.  Learn what Kingston is doing to address the climate emergency -- at home, at work, in our streets, and beyond -- and how each of us can help.  This is the second of two online workshops with Jeremy Milloy of the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Office of the Sisters of Providence.  Also open to those outside of Kingston/Frontenac.  Register to receive the Zoom link.  RESCHEDULED to 6:30 PM on Thursday, December 3.

Grownup Storytime Online Resumes

Grownup Storytime is back for our late fall program series.  Relax at home and listen to a couple of short readings – stories, essays, articles, excerpts and more. Sit down with your lunch or your knitting, or just take a break from your busy day. Why should kids have all the fun?

Mondays from 12 to 1 p.m., November 9 through December 14. Register now to receive the Zoom link.

"In It to Win It" is a Virtual Tutoring and Homework Drop-In for Grades 7 and 8

“In It to Win It” is a fun and welcoming virtual tutoring and homework drop-in facilitated for and by Kingston and Frontenac teens. Upper-year secondary student volunteers provide online tutoring to younger teens in Grades 7 and 8, as well as older teens requiring special academic support. Under the supervision of a KFPL programmer, volunteer tutors work one-on-one, or with small subject groups, to mentor and motivate emerging learners.

To receive tutoring support, please register now.
