Older Adults Day

Join KFPL and Kingston Community Health Centres every Monday at the Rideau Heights Community Centre for a day of activities designed for older adults. Take part in exercise classes, educational workshops, a talking café, cards and board games and a monthly book club.

Get connected!

To help bridge a gap in internet access, we're now lending wireless internet hotspots (search for "hotspot" in the catalogue). Several hotspots will be tied to our branches in rural communities, with additional hotspots available through Kingston locations.

 

Trick or Treat

Hallowe'en will be a bit different this year. Register to pick up a Hallowe'en craft kit and spooky extension activities to celebrate this holiday at home. Best suited for ages 3-5. Registration ends Sunday, October 25, and pick up is available at the Isabel Turner, Calvin Park, and Sydenham branches starting October 28.

This special program includes read-alouds, songs, rhymes, STEM facts and more. You'll see your favourite storytime leaders from several branches!

A link to a new unlisted Youtube video is emailed each Sunday morning, and you'll be able to watch it as often as you like!
