Kingston Youth Climate Council Meeting

The Kingston Youth Climate Council is Accepting New Volunteers!

Even in the midst of a pandemic, climate change remains the most pressing global issue of our time, and climate justice the necessary path for a livable future.

The Kingston Youth Climate Council is accepting teen volunteers in advance of its next meeting on October 15 meeting. As a member, you will help design, execute, and lead a process of climate education, connection, empowerment, and action that will engage youth in Kingston and the city of Kingston itself. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Graeme Langdon, Teen & New Adult Librarian, at glangdon@kfpl.ca, or register at www.kfpl.ca.

It's not too late to join the fun!

Grownup Storytime is back, still in digital form until in-person programming resumes.  Relax at home and listen to a couple of short readings – stories, essays, articles, excerpts and more. Sit down with your lunch or your knitting, or just take a break from your busy day. Why should kids have all the fun?

Mondays from 12 to 1 p.m., Sept 14 through Oct 19 (EXCEPT for Oct 12, due to Thanksgiving). Register now to receive the Zoom link.
