Renga of a Distanced Spring

"Renga" is a genre of Japanese collaborative poetry in which alternating stanzas by two or more poets are linked in succession. Seven poets in Kingston have co-written "Renga of a Distanced Spring" in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Filmmaker Ali Dixon shot and animated a video to accompany the renga, presented in retrospect by the Skeleton Park Arts Festival. KFPL is now delighted to present the video on Saturday, September 26, on three platforms: the KFPL YouTube channel, the StoryMe blog, and the Poetry Blackboard.
