Curbside pick up with image of books

It's here!

Curbside pick up is now available at all 16 branches of KFPL!

Patrons who had materials reserved and ready for pick up before the pandemic began will soon be contacted by library staff. We are also retrieving new reservations from our shelves, so please place holds on books, movies and other items you'd like to borrow.

Please don’t come to your branch until you’ve received an email or phone call that your items are ready for pickup

Curbside pickup will be similar to the experience at retail outlets, and will be offered during set hours as a walk-up service. Patrons are reminded to practice physical distancing and are encouraged to bring hand sanitizer for before and after picking up their package. To comply with local public health orders and to reinforce the importance of protecting each other through the use of face coverings, we are requiring everyone to wear a face covering when picking up their library materials.  In order to ensure the safety of other patrons and our staff, and to keep lines moving, we are also asking that people wear their face coverings while waiting in line to pick up their materials.

For the health and safety of both staff and patrons, please do not ask staff to take returns from your directly. Take all items you are returning directly to the return slot or bin so that they can be quarantined for 72 hours prior to processing.
