Explore the Outdoors with Our New Nature Discovery Backpacks!

Join us for the launch of our Nature Discovery Backpacks, in partnership with Watersheds Canada. To celebrate, Watersheds Canada will be on site offering engaging demonstrations and nature-themed activities. Each backpack is packed with tools for hands-on exploration—from field guides and collection jars to water quality test kits and a park pass to a Rideau Valley Conservation Authority site or Rock Dunder

Beeyond the Pages Literacy Fair

Join us for a fun-filled day of learning about bees and pollinators through crafts, games, hands-on activities and sustainable prizes. Enjoy face painting, a foam machine and make your own paper puppets at our DIY station! Families are encouraged to pick up a passport and collect a sticker from each station. Once completed, trade in the passport for a free seed packet.

Seedling Swap

Bring your extra seeds, seedlings or houseplant cuttings to the Calvin Park and Cloyne branches and swap them for something new! This all-ages, drop-in event is a great chance to trade plants, share knowledge and connect with fellow plant lovers—no registration is required.
