Live @ the Library: Little Ray's Reptiles

Explore animal self-defence mechanisms, including how ferrets stay flexible and how tarantulas protect themselves. Live animals may include mammals, arachnids, lizards and more! This bilingual show is for ages 4 and up.

Create and Resist! with Kingston Pride

Join us for an evening of connection, creativity and queer expression. Learn about the role of zines, buttons and stickers in queer activism and dive into mini-workshops led by local 2SLGBTQIA+ artists. All materials provided—no experience needed, just bring your imagination!

Celebrate Pride Month with our curated collection of books that highlight Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and other gender and sexually diverse (2SLGBTQIA+) voices and stories.

P.A. Day Fun at KFPL

Registration is now open for exciting P.A. Day programs at the Library! Kids can get creative with colourful papier-mâché birds, participate in a garden-themed storytime and make their own “Plant Pal,” explore composting by meeting worms and building a mini worm bin and enjoy an interactive concert with the Kingston Symphony Association on The Science of Sound.
