A Canadian Library Month reading list

More than just a place to find books, libraries promote cultural awareness, engage in the community, provide educational programs, support freedom of expression and so much more.

For Canadian Library Month, our library workers put together a list of our favourite books about libraries!

Learn from LDSB Literacy Coaches

Join Limestone District School Board (LDSB) Learning Coaches Kristen Matthews and Steven Gillespie for a soft landing into literacy.

The Science of Reading continues to inform what we know about how children learn to read, and practices in our classrooms are changing because of it. These workshops are an opportunity to inquire, learn and gain tools to help set your child up for success as they dive into reading.

Every child has the right to learn how to read, and these workshops will offer tools and tips on how you can help give your child the best start on their reading journey.

Registration opens on Saturday, Oct. 14.
