Let's Read Together!

Young readers in grades 1 to 3 are invited to join us for Reading Buddies—a fun, supportive program where teen volunteers and library staff provide one-on-one reading support and engaging literacy activities.

The Isabel Turner Branch will be temporarily closed starting Fall 2024 for renovations. During this time, we’ll be temporarily moving to the Cataraqui Centre.  Get updates here.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada and National Indigenous Peoples Day is June 12. Honouring the history, heritage and cultures of Indigenous Peoples is always important, with a special spotlight through June. Celebrate #OwnVoices and deepen understanding and relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people with these books for kids, teens and adults.

Join our paw-some book club

Give your pup a night out and enjoy some human companionship while you're at it! The Books and Barks Dog Walking Book Club is an opportunity for book- and animal-lovers to get outside and chat about what they’re reading. Bring your latest read or favourite book to share and introduce your canine companion, June 2. Registration required.
