We’re wrapping up this year’s TD Summer Reading Club with a special celebration to honour all our amazing readers! Join us for an exciting Fire and Ice show presented by Mad Science, enjoy face painting, tasty treats and strike a pose in front of our festive photo backdrop. Submit a question about nature and biodiversity for a chance to win a copy of Lindsey Carmichael's The Boreal Forest: A Year in the World's Largest Land Biome!

To celebrate Science Literacy Week, Lindsey will choose five of your questions and share her answers on the KFPL YouTube channel starting Monday, September 21, 2020. 

The contest is open to library card holders of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library under the age of 12. The contest closes September 13, 2020 at 5:00PM.

We're wrapping up our our Words from the Wild Youtube series. Join Elizabeth for the last time to learn about biodiversity, meet a real-life biologist, and see some cool footage from her research trips in the field this summer. Children's online programs

September is just around the corner...

Registration for online fall programs opens on September 5, 2020!

Children can enjoy their favourites, including Family Storytime and Rhythm and Rhyme. Preteens can borrow a ukulele and learn a new skill in Uke Can Do It!, or pick up an art supplies kit and exercise their creativity in Art of Illustration. And look for special events including Kingston WritersFest Guest Storytimes and our Ask an Author series.
