My kitchen and my garden are the places where I am happiest. Unless I am camping - remote paddle-in sites are also at the top of my list.

My reading supports my creative projects - like re-wilding my front yard or learning a new culinary skill, or takes me on adventures through the past. You may sometimes hear me on CBC Radio's Ontario Morning sharing recommended reads.
