13 Hangmen follows Tony, a kid from Michigan who enjoys solving mysteries, as he receives a package from his dead estranged great uncle telling him to move to Boston. In Boston, he and his family move into a run-down house, a fact which is creepy enough, but when Tony accidently summons his dead great uncle, he unlocks an age-old mystery that has left some people dead and others with their lives ruined. I enjoyed this book because, just like Code Orange, it combines both fact and fiction to grip the reader and helps the reader to learn about history in a fun way. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy historical fiction as well as mysteries.
