I found this sequel to the Perfectionists, by Sara Shepard, not a page turner, but definitely worth the time. There is not just one, but three major plot twists that totally caught me off guard and will make you want to re-read the whole book. I love her theme of how everyone has secrets and that no one is perfect. I find that the characters are well developed and explored throughout the book. Each girl seems perfect on the outside but in the inside, it shows a more realistic person. It demonstrates effectively gossip, bullying, and rumors. I love mystery books mixed in with modern fiction so this book was a perfect fit. However, I did not think it was worth 5 stars because in my opinion, it got a little boring too often and was easy to put down. After reading it, I did not feel sad that it was over. Besides that, it was great. I definitely recommend this book to teens who love mystery mixed with real life drama and to the fans of Pretty Little Liars.
