Will Grayson lives in Chicago, Illinois. His parents are doctors, he does well in school, and his career has been decided so that he will be a doctor like his parents. He even has a few good friends, including the not-so-tiny Tiny Cooper, who is head of their school's GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) and is putting on his self-directed, self-written play called Tiny Dancer. In the play, Tiny stars as himself in a story about how he came to terms with his sexuality.
In Naperville, Illinois, Will Grayson also resides — the other Will Grayson, that is. His dad is a deadbeat, and his mom is in such a state of depression she can't look after herself, let alone Will. Will is also clinically depressed, a state which isn't helped by the bullying he endures at school and by his struggle with coming to terms with his sexuality. But one night the planets align, and two lives under the same name converge and change the way they both see life.
Will Grayson, Will Grayson is an inspirational story that you won’t be able to put down. You can't help but get lost in the lives of Will Grayson and, of course, Will Grayson.
