Thomas and the team have survived the scorch trials and find themselves in WICKED headquarters. They are told that they are safe and everything will be fine, but Thomas isn't so sure. Upon further investigation they learn they have to escape and make their way to a virus-free city far from the WICKED facilities. Undercover, they find a vigilante group trying to take down WICKED, find out what WICKED has done, and meet an old friend along the way.

The Death Cure is both a perfect and horrible ending to the series. It is written wonderfully and we get the finale we all hoped for, but we have to say goodbye to some of our favourite characters as they meet endings they don't deserve.
