They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

Deathcast was created to give people and their families a chance to live their last day to the fullest and with no regrets. Deathcast calls Mateo Torrez because he is going to die today. They don't know how or when or why, just that he will. Nobody can change that either. Mateo could stay in his little apartment all day, all alone, not even get out of bed, but somehow he will still die. Rufus Emeterio also received a call from Deathcast today. Running from the cops with no family except his foster siblings he couldn't care less. Both are alone, with nowhere to go until they discover the last friends app. It is an app for deckers so they don't have to be alone on their last day alive. This is where Mateo and Rufus meet and where their last adventure begins.

They Both Die at the End is a beautiful, heart wrenching story about living your best life. It reminds us that despite the fact that Deathcast does not exist, we could die tomorrow or in two minutes. So go out and live with no regrets, and make every day a memorable one.
