Nano is a book in a medical mystery series about a variety of different cases and plots. In this book, Pia takes a job at a large Nanotech company in Colorado. This well funded and security-focused institute is way ahead of the game when it comes to working nanotech. However, Pia feels something is fishy about this place when she sees the crackdown on security and the doors that never seem to be open.
When Pia sees a jogger collapse and starts seizing when he is running, Pia realizes she may have stumbled on Nano’s best kept and most important secret. Throughout the book we see Pia make friends and try to investigate the things that she seems to have found in this top-secret institution.
I would recommend this book to readers 14+ as it contains some violence, harsh language and other mature subject matter. I think this book would be great for people who enjoy science fiction and lots of intense action.
This book was written by Robin Cook who has written many well-researched novels about medicine and is a former doctor. A book that I would recommend would be another one of his books called Shock. This book is another exhilarating novel about two graduate students that become egg donors and their lives forever change.
