This classic Dr. Seuss book comes to life in this hilarious live action film. The movie is fun and full of heart. The movie is about a troublemaker of a child and his seemingly perfect sister who are just sitting around doing nothing on a rainy day, until everything changes when a furry cat that can speak comes to their home. Together, they have lots of fun but also get into lots of trouble. Mike Myers brings the character to life and is totally fit for the role. He makes the audience laugh constantly. Dakota Fanning and Spencer Breslin play the two children. These two children do a great job bringing two classic characters to life. Kelly Preston plays the children's mom who is gone to work throughout the film but is saddened and disappointed by her son's actions. Alec Baldwin plays the children's mom's boyfriend. He plays as the antagonist in the film. He is trying to do anything in his power to get Spencer Breslin's character to go to boarding school. This movie is hilarious and is perfect for the entire family.
