Cell by Robin Cook

“Cell” is a medical thriller in a large series of novels by Robin Cook. This particular book takes us on a journey through a rough part of the life of a radiology resident named George. After a large technology company releases a new app that poses as your doctor, questions emerge about its legitimacy. This story uses a stunning amount of fictional detail and researched facts to advance the plot in a believable yet exciting fashion.

When a radiology resident, George Willson loses his fiancee in her sleep after she enrolled in this new technologies beta, Georges’s suspicion of this new technology deepens. His concerns are only worsened when he finds that other patients at his hospital have come to the same demise. This book takes you on the adventures of George as he tries to find the answers to the question, “Who and what killed his fiancee and so many more around him?”.

I would recommend this book to readers 14+ as it has some violence, language and harsh themes. I think this book would be great for people who medical thrillers and mystery novels. This book specifically focuses on the theme of technology and its future in the medical field. This book was written by Robin Cook who has written many medical thrillers and mysteries. Vector. This is another one of Robin Cook’s novels and is focussed on the real threat of bio-weapons in our society.
