Stephen King's famous book Pet Sematary has been adapted yet again! This is the 2nd time, Pet Sematary has been made into a film! The film is about a young family that relocates from their home in Boston to a small town in Maine. Just as they are getting settled in to their seemingly perfect home, they take notice of a creepy Pet Sematary in the woods near their home. Not too much longer into the film, the beloved family cat dies. Louis Creed the father soon gets notified that there is a way his cat can be brought back. To make his child happy, Louis agrees and brings the cat back. Little does he know, that he just unleashed something evil into his family and will have to fight to keep his family safe. The movie does many different things than the original did by killing off different characters than they did in the original film and also drastically changed the ending. I think it was smart to change the ending as it's the 2nd time this book is being made into a film. However, I think the new ideas were dumb and could've been done differently. I personally think it was unnecessary to bring this movie back and was better left untouched. Overall, the movie is good but could be disappointing to fans of the book and original film.
