Again, this was literally such an amazing book.
I loved the expanded relations from the different characters, the plot twists and the mysteries of Avery herself that gets introduced in the second book.
Although some parts were slow, this book was an incredibly fast-paced read and a lot of the people I know finished this book in a day or two!
In this plot-twisting book, old characters were brought back and impacted the plot greatly. I loved how the different interpretations and mixed feelings for the characters in the book before were resolved in this book. Many different problems and mysteries are also resolved in this book, which I absolutely love as I was dwelling on them before this book was released. But, many new problems arise which creates tension for the third book, coming out next year.
Another thing I loved about this book was how Avery interacted with two of the Hawthrone brothers: Grayson and Jameson. The tension between the brothers and her was really interesting and also the events and memories they created were very sweet.
Overall, this book was an amazing read (it didn’t even have the second-book-curse!) and I recommend it to everyone who has obviously read The Inheritance Games.
