Crooked Kingdom is the sequel to Six of Crows and is part of Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse. It is a beautiful ending book for these characters and is written in a way that will engage you on the first page.
After the Crows return from the Ice Court, they must find a way to get revenge for what was taken from them. Kaz, Inej, Nina, Matthias, Jesper, and Wylan need to keep Kwei Yul-Bo out of dangerous hands and try to unravel the mystery of the powerful but deadly drug, Jurda Parem.
This book was an incredible sequel to Six of Crows and it continued to surprise me all the way through. All of the heroes are extremely likeable and relatable, even considering their status as criminals. There was also incredible character development, leaving you loving each and every one of them.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys intense fantasy novels that keep you reading for hours. If you liked this book, I would suggest reading Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard and reading the rest of the Grishaverse also by Leigh Bardugo.
