This is the fifth installment of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. The Baudelaire orphans are sent to a harsh boarding school where they meet new friends, the Quagmire triplets. Unfortunately, they find that Count Olaf (an evil man who will do anything to get the Baudelaire fortune), has followed them with a wicked plan in tow.
I rate this book a 5/5. The introduction of new characters adds to the fun suspense and curious twists always found in the Unfortunate series. The strict setting of the boarding school in this book, mixed with the hopefulness that the Quagmire triplets give to the Baudelaires makes for an amazing read. The pace of the book is just perfect. It’s an easy one day read with a plot moves along swiftly to keep you hooked, but not too fast that it's hard to keep track of what’s going on.
If you want to read this book, I recommend you should read the four others in the series: The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, The Wide Window and The Miserable Mill, all by Lemony Snicket.
