Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Fahrenheit 451 takes place in a dystopian futuristic setting. The main character, Guy Montag, is a fireman whose job is to burn books. Oppression and mass surveillance promote ignorance over knowledge and “big media” controls everything. Guy Montag starts to read, but he must do this in secret because he will face a severe punishment if he is not careful. In this dystopian thriller you will be on the edge of your seat.

Overall, Fahrenheit 451 is a great book which explores the themes of ignorance, censorship, and knowledge. This is definitely a book for people who are 13+ as it has some complex ideas. I will rate this as a 3.5/5 stars.
